 Whole cakes and tarts are available from our bakery. 24 hour notice is required for all custom whole cake and tart orders. Please note that cash, checks, Visa® or MasterCard® may be used as payment. Your orders, which currently may be called in, mailed, or faxed may be picked up at either of our two cafes in University Heights and downtown at the El Cortez Hotel.
We write any inscription, Happy Birthday, etc., in chocolate on a marzipan scroll. These scrolls are easily placed atop any cake or tart, whether it has fresh fruit, chocolate shavings or a simple flat surface. There is a charge of $1.50 for each scroll. The following items are available. Click on each image for an enlarged, mouth-watering view. All of our cakes are made from scratch with no artificial flavorings or preservatives. The serving ranges for our cakes are:
8" or 6"x8": up to 12 servings;
10" or 8"x9": 12-16 servings;
8"x12": 25 servings;
12"x16": 50 servings;
16"x24": 100 servings.
